How can you tell an offset lithograph?

1 Answer
How can you tell an offset lithograph?
To tell an offset lithograph apart from one made by hand, grab a magnifying glass and study the image up close. You will usually see a regular dot pattern on offset lithographs because a machine produced the image. Hand-pulled lithographs will usually display a more irregular dot pattern. When in doubt, consult a certified appraiser or knowledgeable art dealer for assistance with identifying your print. Shop a wide variety of lithographs on 1stDibs.
