How do I identify a figurine?

1 Answer
How do I identify a figurine?
To identify a figurine, look on the bottom of its base and its back for a maker's mark. Many well-known makers of figurines have added marks to their pieces over the years. Researching any logos or wordmarks found on your figurine can typically allow you to identify the maker and other characteristics, such as a style name and an approximate age. Alternatively, you can have a certified appraiser or knowledgeable antique dealer assist you. Shop a large selection of figurines on 1stDibs.
