How many KAWS Companions were made?

Only 500 KAWS Companions were made in the first limited edition run. To produce the series of figures, KAWS partnered with the manufacturer Toy Hunter. The original Companions hit the market in 1999 and sold out quickly. Find a diverse assortment of KAWS art on 1stDibs.
