How much is a mink coat?

Mink coats can cost quite a bit of money, especially as fur — both real and fake — has made somewhat of a return to the runway. While a small vintage mink coat could sell for approximately $300 or so, a top designer coat could sell for over $10,000. (When it comes to collectible fashion, factors such as size, brand name, quality and condition will play a role in determining the value of a vintage mink coat.)

Luxury mink coats were very fashionable during the 1980s and could command up to several hundred thousand dollars. Vintage mink coats created by internationally revered designers and brands such as Versace, Chanel or Armani — none of which utilize fur anymore in their products — can fetch prices today in the tens of thousands of dollars (particularly if kept in good condition).
