What are woolly chaps for?
1 Answer

Chaps protect horse riders from the elements and are often made to suit local climates. Woolly chaps were popular in the late 1800s and designed for colder and wetter locations. They were made from hides with hair, such as bear, buffalo or Angora goat hides. Shop a selection of chaps on 1stDibs.
