What is bouclé material?

Bouclé material is fabric that has noticeable loops all along its surface. Often textile manufacturers produce it out of wool, but there is also cotton, silk and linen bouclé. The name comes from the French word for "curly." On 1stDibs, find a range of bouclé apparel.
