Vik Muniz is known for his broad range of experimental artwork. While the Brazilian artist started his career as a sculptor, his practice today is almost entirely photo-based, a process that involves creating works that are subsequently photographed. Muniz's interest in human visual understanding is a running theme of the majority of his work.
