Why is it called a Parsons table?
1 Answer
The Parsons table is named for where it was created. Its design originates from the Parsons School of Design in Paris, France. The first ones hit the market in the 1930s and became popular as alternatives to the more ornamental furniture commonly sold at the time. On 1stDibs, shop a range of Parsons tables.
