The discomfort, oddness and frustration in my photographs are the evidence of my uneasiness. As I've grown more mature and more comfortable in my skin I've been able to recognize the struggle and vulnerability in my sitters, bringing my work to a point of collaboration with them. Where once I sought conflict with the subjects now we work to build something strange and wonderful together.
