This is a limited edition (only 30) early drypoint which Richard Haas, the world's foremost architectural muralist and trompe d'oeil artist, published himself in collaboration with the famed master printer Catherine Mosely. This work was done around the time Richard Haas first moved to the city from Bennington College (where he was a professor), and he became fascinated with New York City's architecture. Haas was in particular enamored by the architect Louis Sullivan who designed the Bayard-Condict building at 65 Bleecker Street between Broadway and Lafayette Street, at the head of Crosby Street...
