In 1999, Star Photographer Michel Comte created a series of images capturing intimate moments with a young Gisele Bündchen in Cannes, France for a Jewelry Campaign published in Vogue Italia. This black and white portrait shows the supermodel with wet hair and smeared makeup as if she had just come back from a swim in the ocean. Her head is tilted back slightly and the look she is shooting the camera is somewhat condescending yet challenging.
