Elegant French Art Deco mirrored wall composition dating from the 1940s, consisting of eight separate rectangular mirror panels designed to be installed together. Each panel is decorated with delicate etched floral and foliate motifs, combining stylized flowers, scrolling stems and feather-like leaves. The engraved decoration creates an elegant contrast against the reflective surface and gives the composition a distinctly decorative character typical of French interiors of the period. The eight individual sections allow the mirror to form a large architectural wall feature once assembled. An unusual and refined example of vintage French decorative mirror work, ideal for an entrance hall, living room, bedroom or above a console.
