An assortment of antique ratchets is available at 1stDibs. Frequently made of wood, mahogany and metal, all antique ratchets available were constructed with great care. Antique ratchets have been produced for many years, with earlier versions available from the 18th Century and newer variations made as recently as the 20th Century. Georgian, Regency and Louis XVI antique ratchets are consistently popular styles. There have been many well-made antique ratchets over the years, but those made by Jean Joseph Chapuis, Morant & Co. and Aubert & Klaftenberger are often thought to be among the most beautiful.
