Offered for sale is this early antique hook and spike wall clock Brass dial signed Thomas Baxter Condereton.

Each piece features a long tapered spike designed to be driven into masonry or timber, paired with a perpendicular arm forming the pivot point for a strap hinge.

Forged from heavy wrought iron, its design features a twisted spiral stem that rises dramatically into a spiked candle holder, exuding a sense of primitive elegance.

The handles have an adjustable jaw and spikes to hold the meat securely for carving. The marble base is a beautiful cream color, circa 1850. 7 in.H x 21.5 in.W x 11 in.D

At the base of the roller two drawers, spiked legs. Origin: Northern Italy. Piedmont. period: second half 1700 Dimensions: 111 x 57 x 106 cm.  

The structure is supported by spiked legs. The desk has been disinfected by woodworms and has been restored (cleaning, stripping, grouting and French finishing.

The red upholstery of the back and the seat have a spiked border. Rosewood, red leather, ceramic, spikes H 95 cm; H seat 47 cm, W 58 cm, D 50 cm.  

Mahogany, black leather upholstery (new), spiked border. Measures: H. 85 cm back; Seat H. 46 cm, W. 58 cm, D. 50 cm.      

Made in London 1797 probably by John Clemenson. The spikes on the spur rowels are complete and unbroken.
