Possibly made by V Binachini, oil on canvas - on back indicates artist, date and Studio Vial Petrarca. The frame is equally stunning. O/C

I believe that the glass vial could possibly be replaced or the pair could be used for decorative purposes only.

The left hand rests on his knee, the right one is raised and holding a vial, a symbol very present Chinese iconography.
