Original state. Inside the table its needle case with beautiful Art Nouveau decor. Unfortunately, he did not have a knob for easier opening of the needle case.

Fischel and Köhn were the best known and most productive, not hesitating to draw inspiration from, or even copy, certain models produced by Thonet.

David Fischel started his business in former Czechoslovakia in the 1870s when many of the original Thonet patents expired.
