Adolphe Potter Art

Swiss, 1835-1911

Adolphe Potter, the Geneva-born artist was a student of the Barbizon school painters Theodore Rousseau and Charles-François Daubigny. Potter traveled widely and appears to have spent much time in Italy. Potter’s vibrant landscape paintings can be found in many French and Swiss museums.
