Awesome vintage Mid-Century Modern Space Age black vinyl desk armchair no. 2635 with wood arms and a five-prong cast aluminum base with casters by Arthur Umanoff for Madison Furniture. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There is some damage to the vinyl on both edges of the back portion of chair below the arms and there is wear to the paint on the 5-prong base. We did not want to change the originality of the chair so have not made repairs; however, they are not hard repairs to make if you so desire. Let us know. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, May 13, 1966.
This chair takes me back to a time as a little girl on a Saturday morning sitting at the breakfast table having a bowl of Lucky Charms while watching an episode of “The Jetsons!” This is a GORGEOUS rolling armchair by Arthur Umanoff for Madison Furniture!! It’s a fabulous vintage Mid-Century Modern and Space Age style black vinyl rolling chair with black vinyl, wood arms, and a five-prong cast aluminum base with casters. The black vinyl needs a little love and may eventually need reupholstered, but you can certainly use it the way it is for a while. This rolling chair would be a fabulous addition to your new Covid required home office, study, or den. It’s just the chair you need to add a little Space Age flair to your Mid-Century Modern, modern, or contemporary style home but it would be equally as nice in an Industrial loft or modern country house...
