Made by Samson of Paris in the style of Sevres. It sits on 4 exceptionally detailed Griffin feet with hand painted floral panels on all sides.

The bodies decorated throughout with drip glaze. Probably by the Samson factory, Paris.

Both pairs are marked 1568 and I. C. Work of the Samson Factory in Paris. circa 1850 DIM: W: 3.7 in – D: 0.8in – H: 6.9in.

While I have not removed the bases from these to see if they are marked, I am sure they were made by the Paris firm of Samson in the late 19th or early 20th century.
