Whether you’re looking for an older or newer wine cistern, there are earlier versions available from the 18th Century and newer variations made as recently as the 20th Century. A wine cistern made by Georgian designers — as well as those associated with Baroque — is very popular. Many designers have produced at least one well-made wine cistern over the years, but those crafted by Gillows of Lancaster & London and Minton are often thought to be among the most beautiful.
