Work Is Over

Ida has for many years worked on a series titled "Surface is the Between" which he explained in an interview published in the Hara Museum Review Spring 1987.

While at a distance the work appears to be one-dimensional, upon closer investigation layers of cut and pasted paper emerge, adding to the fray.
