This 1932 very rare lithographic poster reproduces an amazing painting by Edouard Manet entitled "Le Fifre" (the fifer), from 1866. The angel wing originally came from a church in Liguria. It was once used as part of a decorative motif in angelic depictions in a historic Italian church. 18th Century Italian Gold Ribbon Fragment with a Baroque Pearl on Obsidian

18th century Italian gold ribbon fragment with a coordinating Baroque pearl on a free-forming obsidian mineral with a polished face. Obsidian is naturally occurring volcanic glass produced when lava flowing from a volcano cools rapidly with minimum crystal growth. The obsidian face is polished to host the fragment. The hand-carved fragment is from Tuscany and came from a Rococo style church artifact.
