This Art Deco table lamp or bedside light was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1930s during the Bauhaus period. The light features a sculptural Bakelite base in a rich reddish-brown / chestnut tone with stepped Art Deco detailing, supporting an arched bronzed brass arm that cradles a cream-colored shade.
