The stool is made of Luminescent electric blue ceramic Designed by Alan Irvine for Simon Gavina Bologna, Italy Alan Irvine was inspired by Carlo Scarpa’s circular window forms for Gavina’s shop in Bologna’s Via Altabella. Alan Irvine Biography: Architect and designer. Graduate of the Royal College of Art, and the Polytechnic London. Worked in Milan with BBPR Group 1954 - 5.
