The image featured on this poster is Munch's 1903 lithograph edition "The Brooch. Eva Mudocci", (Woll No. 244, page 208-209). Edvard Munch would build a strong relationship with Eva Mudocci which lasted many years. They were connected through both romance and also friendship, with the two alternating in importance over time. Walter Becker was born in 1893 in Essen, Ruhr, Germany.
