Original lithograph of Josef Fenneker’s German Expressionist poster design for the 1920 silent film Hass (Hate) directed by Manfred Noa. Josef Fenneker was the foremost film poster artist in Weimar Berlin and the in-house artist for legendary Expressionist theater Marmorhaus. This antique lithograph is documented in Thomas Negovan's Transcendent Luxury: German Art Deco Poster Masterpieces (published by Century Guild) and arrives accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. This artwork was published in 1920 by Dinse & Eckert, Berlin.
