Born in the early 1990s, Antoine Maurice lives and works in Yvelines, France.
A self-taught artist, he founded his studio to develop his own approach to design, which blends functional objects and art.
Antoine aspires to create unique, handcrafted pieces that blur the line between functional objects and sculpture.
He develops a creative process based on observation and experimentation, integrating prototypes and research. He places particular emphasis on elements such as texture, sensuality, curves, shine, and light, which enrich his creations.
His inspiration comes from both humanity and nature, allowing for a harmonious fusion between these two worlds. By designing pieces that accompany human life while drawing inspiration from natural forms and materials, Antoine reconciles humans and their environment. This approach emphasizes the idea that design is not limited to functionality, but can also evoke a deep connection with the natural world.
Using high-quality French wood, often reclaimed and carefully selected, he creates works that transcend the functional object to become evocative sculptures.
