Splendid set of 2 fabric armchairs designed by Luigi Caccia Dominioni for the prestigious manufacture Azucena Italia. The vintage armchairs are made of brown, fuchsia and purple striped fabric, which creates a very colorful geometric effect. The lines are very hard and geometric, wonderfully eccentric. Elegant Italian swivel chair designed by Gastone Rinaldi for RIMA, dating to the 1960s. The chair features a sculptural upholstered shell with a gently enveloping profile, refined vertical stitching and a distinctive horizontally ribbed lumbar section. The seat is upholstered in white leather and supported by a polished chromed-metal pedestal terminating in a five-star base with casters. ABOUT Gastone Rinaldi Gastone Rinaldi was born in Padua in 1920, and graduated in accounting at the Belzoni Institute. Initially he worked for the Rima company in via Guido Reni in Padua, founded by his father Mario Rinaldi in 1916. In his work as a designer he came into contact with many of the major Italian designers, including Giò Ponti, Carlo Mollino, Alberto Rosselli, Franco Campo and Carlo Graffi, Michele De Lucchi and Marco Zanuso. In 1954 he won the Compasso d'Oro Award with the DU30 chair produced by Rima. In 1974 he founded the company Thema in Limena. In 1981 his Dafne chair...
