Interior designer Barclay Butera makes his publishing debut with this visual compilation of his most iconic work. A young and celebrated star of the design community, Butera creates clean, classical interiors known for their luxury and livability. His work is inspired by a plethora of elements, from the glamour of midcentury Hollywood to the sophistication of Europe and the exoticism of the Far East. Butera s experience in the interior design business began at a young age while working with his mother, who designed the interiors of homes all over the world. At age twenty-five, he started his own company.
Barclay Butera explores five themes in the designer s work: Desert, City, Mountain, Beach, and Town & Country. In this stunning edition brimming with exciting design ideas, the author invites readers to explore both the small details and the larger motifs that come together in an enviable interior.
About the designer:
Since 1994, Barclay Butera has been the creative force behind his prestigious design firm and showroom in Newport Beach, California. His success in Newport prompted Butera to establish showrooms in Park City, Utah, and Corona del Mar, California. Butera is renowned for his approachable elegance and glamorous, coastal-chic interiors.
In addition to his thriving interior design business, Butera’s venture into licensing has landed him an unprecedented number of the industry’s most respected partners including: Bradburn Home...

Cartier High Jewelry Exhibition Coffee Table Book, 1997
Located in New York, NY
CARTIER 1900 - 1939
Paris, London, New York.
This special hard-cover book was published in honor of the exhibition, 'Cartier 1900 - 1939', held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, from April 2, 1997, through August 3, 1997, and the British Museum, London, from October 3, 1997, through February 1, 1998. This exhibition was organized jointly by the two museums.
Foreword by: Dr. Robert G. W. Anderson, Director, British Museum
"The firm of Cartier is widely recognized as one the world's greatest designers and manufacturers of jewellery and objects d'art. This exhibition is timed to coincide with the 150th anniversary of the founding of the company in Paris in 1847."
Preface: Judy Rudoe, Department of Medieval and Later Antiquities, British Museum
"Previous exhibitions devoted to Cartier have encompassed the entire period of the firm's history, from 1847 to the present. The aim of this exhibition is to take a fresh look at a more closely defined period, from around 1900, when the firm's distinctive style becomes identifiable, to the end of the 1930s, which saw a dramatic change of style that led to a quite different aesthetic."
A gorgeous exhibition book highlighting the first four decades of the 20th century when the renowned Paris-based firm known as Cartier expanded to London and New York. Specially taken photographs present a breathtaking array of necklaces, bracelets, brooches, rings, as well as cigarette cases, clocks, and objects d'art. 450+ illustrations, 350 in full color. A great piece to start a collection, add to one, display on a coffee table, library shelf, etc.

Palm Beach Living
By: Jennifer Ash Rudick
Photography by Nick Mele
Explore the pleasures of life in the homes and gardens of the legendary tropical island of Palm Beach
Could it be the subtropical climate and seaside breezes that have drawn multiple generations to Palm Beach for more than a century? Or does its timeless appeal lie in its unique mixture of charming bungalows, sleek minimalist houses, chic apartments, and iconic Mediterranean Revival residences by such legendary architects as Maurice Fatio and John Volk? Though the nation’s most exclusive barrier island is perennially thronged with visitors, few have seen the private homes and gardens showcased in Palm Beach Living. Some of the homes incorporate the exuberant colors of the island’s tropical flora; others opt for a soothing, more neutral palette to contrast with the surrounding landscape. All embrace indoor/outdoor living, and each reflects the singular aesthetic of the owner, realized with the help of renowned architects, including Fairfax & Sammons, Chris Stone and David Fox, Daniel Kahan, and Jeffrey W. Smith; superb landscape architects such as Mario Nievera, Jorge Sánchez...
