Lawson & Son Brighton. A Rare Full Calendar Heavy 18ct Yellow Gold Hunter Keyless Lever Pocket Watch C1900s.
Dial: The superb white enamel dial with Roman numerals outer minute track signed Lawson & son Brighton. With the moon phase at twelve o'clock which is rare as nearly all moon phases were located at six o'clock. The sub dial for the date is located at nine o'clock, the sub dial for the month is located at three o'clock, the date dial and the seconds dial is located at six o'clock, this in itself is complicated to do. The hands for the watch are all original blued steel which is also rare to find.
Case: The very heavy 18ct yellow gold full hunter case (160grms) with plain front and back cases Swiss hallmarked and numbered with the casemaker's stamp B.Co which was Baume & Co. The inner cover is signed Lawson & Son Old Steine Brighton.
Movement: The excellent Swiss high quality nickel finished keyless lever movement with wolf's tooth winding, compensation balance and blued steel over coil Breguet hairspring.
