Beautiful and cute, vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso glowing Uranium yellow green with blue Italian art glass kitty cat figure / sculpture. The cat is documented to the Cenedese company, and attributed to designer Antonio da Ros. The cat an abstract shape, with cylinder body, tall neck and large head. The face features are detailed with 3 inner bubbles, with a red dot for the nose and blue to show the eyes. It also has a semi circle on the base in blue glass. You can see a thin swirl of blue coming up from the base towards the neck. It almost glows by itself in normal daylight with such a bright color, but under a black light you can really see how it lights up with a bright neon green color. Would make a great display piece on any desk, curio cabinet, or vanity. The piece is solid glass throughout and very heavy. Great item for the collector of Uranium / Vaseline glass. Measures 7” tall x 2 1/2” wide. I have taken it out from my personal Murano cat...
