Claude Loewer Rugs and Carpets
Claude Loewer was a Swiss artist and painter, born in 1917, in Switzerland. He moved to Paris, where he studied at the Ranson and Colarossi academies. He is one of the main artists who translated the language of abstract painting to that of textile art. His work is present in numerous private and public collections, among which include the Centre National d'Art Contemporain and the Mobilier National, in Paris, France.
