Stunning set of 18 English hand-painted smaller accent plates with gilt decoration, 9" diameter. The hand-painted floral centers encircled by gilt inner and outer borders with scalloped edge. The main border color is a hand-painted stippled lapis color almost as dark as cobalt. The mark on the back is Crown Staffordshire England. The marks places these lovely plates to circa 1905. The last picture show these plates resting on a larger all gold service plate.
