An exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian English sterling silver double photograph frame; an addition to our ornamental silverware collection. This exceptional, fine and impressive antique Victorian sterling silver frame, has a shaped rectangular form with two rectangular internal windows. Each of the antique photograph frames is embellished with impressive embossed scrolling floral and foliate decoration accented with floral motifs and trellis patterns. The impressive design incorporates a central vacant cartouche, surrounded by scrolling ornamentation, to the upper portion of each frame. These exceptional frames are attached with the original hinges. This sterling silver double frame is fitted with a velvet covered back; the original wood cover of the frames has been recovered in blue velvet replicating the appearance of the original covering.
