Dorothy Jean Krueger was born on October 22, 1926, in Austin, Texas, to Edwin Wesley Krueger and Corrine Mildred Helf Krueger. She studied under Everett Spruce at the University of Texas at Austin. She was a retired teacher of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin School of Engineering. She died at the age of 80 on February 17, 2007, at Retirement & Nursing Centre, Austin, Texas.
