This exceptional antique Victorian sterling silver tea caddy has an octagonal panelled form. The surface of this fine silver tea caddy box is plain and unembellished. This antique sterling silver tea caddy retains the original hallmarked domed hinged cover surmounted with the original cast sterling silver scroll decorated loop handle/finial. The anterior edge of the cover features a plain rounded thumbpiece. This exceptional example of Victorian silverware retains the original gilded interior.
