Emmanuel Charles Jodelet Art

1883-1973

Emmanuel Charles Jodelet was born on December 24, 1883, in Augerans, France. He was a French painter that realized portraits, landscapes and still life paintings. He was also an illustrator and a watercolorist that studied with Bernard Naudin and Charles Guérin at Académie Colarossi in Paris. He worked as a lithographer and exhibited in Paris and at Salon d'Automne. In 1918, he showed his works for the first time at the solo show exhibition at the Galerie Georges Petit. Jodelet passed away on January 3, 1973, in Paris, France.
