Extremely rare vintage early 70s late 1960s / 60s JAY MORLEY for FERN VIOLETTE bohemian / boho maxi dress! Jay Morley was a well established designer for MGM Studios back int he day. He had a very successful sought-after limited run as a fashion designer under the Fern Violette label. Features a rich burgundy soft velvet bodice with functional brass buttons up the front bodice. Hidden snap at top bust can be left un snapped (without seeing) to accomodate larger bust sizes. Hand-sewn ethnic inspired cotton trim matches the attached maxi skirt.
