Natalia Pankova (1965) - Sunflowers - Oil on canvas Oil measurements 50x50 cm. Frameless. This striking piece by Natalia Pankova, a renowned contemporary Russian painter, captures the energy and vitality of a sunflower bouquet in her signature expressionist style. Pankova uses a vibrant palette and dynamic brushstrokes, creating a powerful balance between structure and emotion. The artist draws clear inspiration from masters such as Vincent van Gogh, whose use of color and expressive approach to still life revolutionized the art world, and Paul Cézanne, celebrated for his structural and geometric treatment of still life. Additionally, echoes of Wassily Kandinsky's expressionism can be seen, particularly in the harmonious interplay of shapes and colors. The painting is not framed, offering the buyer the freedom to select a frame that best suits their personal style and space. Perfect for collectors or contemporary art enthusiasts looking for a vibrant and unique piece. An excellent addition to any collection! Natalia Yuryevna Pankova (Russian: Наталия Юрьевна Панкова, Gorky, June 28, 1965) is a Russian painter. Natalia Pankova was born in the city of Gorky in 1965. Calvert’s current paintings investigate the relationship between digital media and the reception and perception of images, and utilizes diverse technologies such as fresco, 3D modeling, AI and data manipulation through code. She is especially interested in the evolution of pictorial space. Today we view our screens and the world they occupy as a shallowly layered space of overlapping desktop windows. The picture plane has tilted up again from the flatbed to float in front of our eyes. Calvert’s paintings in turn depict an intermediate space, where the verticality of the still life paintings cohabitate with these digital panes. Dutch floral still life paintings encapsulate multiple concerns. Their subjects were botanical fantasies, emblems of an economic mirage that has contemporary corollaries. Most important to Calvert’s pictorial concerns, they depict ephemeral things in shallow and diagrammatic space - they are all foreground. They contain an abundance of visual information in overwhelming density, creating an allover resolution; a visual field that is equivalent to digital noise. By making painterly interventions into reproductions, Calvert attempts to dissolve the layer between the resolution of the source image and abstraction of the painted mark. ⎯⎯⎯⎯⎯ Tiffany Calvert has exhibited her work in the US and abroad including Lawrimore Project in Seattle, E.TAY Gallery in New York, the Speed Museum in Louisville and Cadogan Contemporary in London. Residencies include the Djerassi Resident Artists Program, I-Park, and ArtOmi International Arts Center where she received a Geraldine R. Dodge Fellowship. Calvert has received grants from the Great Meadows Foundation and the Pollock-Krasner Foundation. Her work was recently profiled by critic John Yau in the online journal Hyperallergic. Her curatorial projects include “Some Abstraction Occurs” at 65GRAND Gallery in Chicago and “Magic” at Mercer College (featuring work by Chris Martin, Karla Knight, and Sarah Peters...

Picasso lived in more than one place in France. In 1904, he moved to Paris and settled in the artist quarter of Montmartre. In 1936, he set up his studio at 7 rue des Grands-Augustins in Paris. During World War II, he briefly fled to the south of France but then returned to his Parisian studio in 1940 and remained there until 1955, when he relocated to a villa near Cannes called La Californie. What the traditional dress of France is called depends on the style, as there are several types of dresses that may be considered traditional clothing in the country. One of the most well-known is the Alsatian dress, which features a long, full skirt, a fitted bodice and an apron. The traditional dress in Normandy has a similar shape but usually features a scoop or v-neck as opposed to the higher collar of the Alsatian. In Provence, the traditional dress usually has a more fluid, flowing skirt in a pattern that contrasts with its bodice. Called the Euskara, the traditional dress of the Basque region has intricate pleats along the skirting. Find a wide range of traditional clothing on 1stDibs.

Whether Limoges France porcelain is valuable depends on a number of factors, including the condition of the piece in question. Limoges porcelain has withstood the test of time for centuries. The widely cherished ceramics named for the French city and commune in which they are made are synonymous with sophistication, elegance and refinement. Generally, collectors are willing to pay more for Limoges porcelain objects that feature a high level of hand-painted detail. Pieces with machine-transferred decorations are typically less valuable.
