The body of this silver watering can is plain and embellished with the contemporary flat engraved monogram initials 'EIW'. This impressive example of Edwardian silverware is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover surmounted by a ball style fingerpiece. This antique sterling silver watering can retains the original handle, overlaid with interwoven wicker; the upper portion of the handle terminates with a plain rounded socket. The can is fitted with a tapering cylindrical spout, accented with an angular plateaued lip.
