Genevieve Cohn was born and raised in rural Vermont before attending Ithaca College for her undergraduate degree in Art and Culture & Communication. She received her MFA in Painting from Indiana University and was awarded the Future Faculty Teaching Fellowship following her graduate studies. Cohn has shown nationally with works shown at ARC Gallery in Chicago and The Painting Center and Pace University in New York City. Cohn has been an artist-in-residence at the Vermont Studio Center, the Ragdale Foundation, and AiRGentum in Seville, Spain.
