BETTY FLORAL IKAT
Designed by Roome London and Geraldine Larkin.
Through a shared belief in using time-honored techniques within contemporary design, a collaboration with furniture makers Roome London sees the emergence of 21st Century Modern.
The Betty Cabinet is made to order from lacquered ash wood veneers and fine upholstered with exquisite hand embroidery, which is beautifully showcased within bespoke door frames combined with luxurious cabinetry.
The bespoke brass handles and door frames are complemented by solid brass legs.
For its natural flames and character crown-cut ash has been used, coated in a dark lacquer to enhance the beauty of its grain.
The beautiful Floral Ikat pattern is a vibrant collection of silk threads and glass silver beadwork which is hand embroidered onto Dedar Velvet and carefully upholstered within the bespoke door frames.
The pattern has been exclusively designed for the cabinet.
Each piece of ash is unique and acts in striking contrast to the hand embroidery.
