Gin Stone Art
American, b. 1971
From 1989 until 2010, Gin Stone worked solely as a painter- this background gave her a strong knowledge of color and form. Over a decade ago, she began experimenting with textile, particularly reclaimed fishing gear and line. From trial and error with different types of gear, she found that longline, used to commercially fish haddock and cod local to her studio, could be hand-dyed and manipulated into a strong color pallet with a uniform gauge. She create three dimensional work by cutting and re-piecing material to make the animal’s ‘pelt’s. Other details are hand carved from shell, stone, wood and metal.
In 2018, she was invited by the Provincetown Art Association and Museum to conduct a course at the Lillian Orlowsky and William Freed Museum School on exploring new processes and creating a cohesive body work. Stone is a PAAM member with her work in their permanent collection alongside such notables as Robert Motherwell, Hans Hoffman and Edward Hopper.
Stone has delivered talks at the Chandler Gallery, Cambridge, MA; the Fountain Street Gallery, Boston; and the Cambridge Art Association, Cambridge.
In collaboration with Fountain Street, Chandler and Kathryn Schultz galleries, she has curated several shows in the Boston and Cambridge area. Her work has been included in exhibitions by such notable curators as Randi Hopkins, Director of Visual Arts Boston Center for the Arts; Paul Ha, Director of the MIT List Visual Arts Center; and Sam Tager, Independent Curator and Exhibition Designer.
Gin has been awarded grants from the Rauschenberg Foundation, the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Born in New York in 1971, Stone currently lives and works in eastern coastal Massachusetts.to

'I am a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on ecofeminism using fiber and mixed media constructions. My materials include hand-dyed commercially fished line and ghost gear, recycled and antique textiles, fabric printed with cyanotype emulsions and found objects.
I change the existing surface of recognizable animals by creating a veneer of unexpected color and imagery. This forces the viewer to consider the shape more carefully by visually exploring its new topography. The creation process can be likened to painting with fiber (that has been tinted with hand-mixed dyes) on a three-dimensional canvas. Intense work is spent creating the eyes and ears to convey the emotion of each animal.

Hole in the Wall
By Luke O'Sullivan
Located in Philadelphia, PA
This original piece by Luke O'Sullivan is made from wood that the artist has silkscreen printed onto with his original drawings and patterns, which he then cut and assembled into a three-dimensional, wall-hanging sculpture. The finished piece measures 14”h x 11.5”w x 4.25”d.
About the Artwork
O’Sullivan creates invented buildings, places, and objects describing unexplored worlds conjuring a sense of discovery and adventure. Rise and Shine represents a shift from the artist’s earlier work featuring structures, facades, and panoramic landscapes toward a more detailed approach. These new works depict encapsulated, floating environments devoid of humans. The sculptural objects are keepsakes or relics from these faraway places. Each piece plays with the shifting relationships between two and three dimensions, surface and underworld. O’Sullivan’s recent screen prints introduce color, imbuing these works with a certain levity and illustrative quality.
The playful nature of O’Sullivan’s work draws from Nintendo games, maps, science fiction movies, and movie set design. Likening his process to a lego set...

Hopeful (19/35) - Yellow Figurative Sculpture with Glossy Green Balloon
By Nayla Saroufim
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Nayla Saroufim creates glossy balloon sculptures for display on a table or hanging on a wall or ceiling that challenge the traditional notion of the passive viewer. Saroufim's art is a rich mix of media. She was always captivated by the dialogue between painting, illustration, and graphics. Her work embodies her attraction to colors and interest in all forms of expression, especially installations. Her technique is unique and personalized: a fusion of mixed media and installations in layers of steel, copper, paint, and other elements. Saroufim strives to make her positivity and love of happiness appear in her art, sparking emotion and thoughts in viewers.
This sculpture measures 26-inches high by 12-inches wide and has an 8-inch wide steel base. It is signed and dated underneath the base of the artwork. This sculpture is numbered 19 out of 35. This sculpture can be displayed easily on any flat surface and may be viewed from any vantage point. Free local Los Angeles delivery. Affordable Continental U.S. and International shipping are available. A certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery is included.
Nayla Saroufim was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1982. She graduated from the Académie Lebanese des Beaux-Arts with a degree in Illustration and Art Direction. While working in the publicity field at several multinational advertising agencies, Saroufim began rekindling her interest in art. Creative, a dreamer, and a lover of color and beauty, Saroufim has been engaging in a creative expression of her personality through art for over a decade. She hopes that by looking at her art, people will realize that there is beauty and happiness in the simplest things.
Nayla Saroufim’s work has graced the walls of solo exhibitions including a show in London in December 2015 and one in Beirut in October 2013. Her work has been exhibited at the Beirut Art Fair, in Singapore, and at Asia Contemporary Art. Artspace Warehouse Los Angeles has exhibited her sculptural artworks since 2020.

18th Century New England Cartographer's Office - Kupjack Studios Miniature Room
By Henry "Hank" Kupjack
Located in Chicago, IL
Cartography, the study and practice of making and using maps, was at the cutting edge in the 18th-century, helping to shape and define a world rapidly coming into focus. Over the course of the century, exploration and colonization expanded the scope of the known world, especially in the Pacific and the Americas. Advances in geography enabled cartographers to map these new discoveries with increasing accuracy. The days of conjecture and myth in cartography were fast coming to an end. Here, the Kupjack Studios has captured this discipline with exacting details. From the smallest of tools, to the rolls of maps and maps in progress displayed on the desk, the world of miniatures comes to life and brings us into a bygone era.

Hank and Jay learned the at their father’s side as he assisted Mrs. Narcissa Niblack Thorne with the creation her many miniature rooms now housed at The Art Institute of Chicago. Almost every piece of molding, furniture, rugs, and accessory items that are contained in their rooms are designed and created by hand. In addition to designing and building rooms they would sometimes work to restore the rooms built many years ago by their father and Mrs. Thorne.
Their work can be seen in various museums as far away as Turkey where they were exhibited in 2009. In the United States their work can be seen in the permanent collections of The Kentucky Museum Center, The Art Institute of Chicago, The Philadelphia Art Museum...
