He also produced numerous artistic posters and colour prints. His art was one of illusion and semi-reality. Cassiers studied for an architect at the Academy of Fine Arts in his birthplace and received classes from the master teacher and artist Stacquet Henry (1838 – 1906) and he also studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sint-Joost-ten-Node.
