Lovely woodland scenery in green and autumn tones, the trees are crisp and detailed along the roadway. A woman sits atop the tree trunks as a man adjusts the reins before guiding the horses onward. In the distance, visible from a cut between trees, lies a village with a picturesque white steeple and animals grazing. This painting sight is 26” high and 40” wide with a linen inset and traditional frame. With the frame the painting is 32” by 46” In overall very good condition with no noted faults.
