In the 1990s, his parents, Count Antonio Bolza and Countess Angelika Bolza, purchased the Castello di Reschio estate in the rolling hills of Umbria, Italy. At the time, Bolza was studying at the University of Westminster in London to become an architect. In 1999, he tackled restoring the estate farmhouses and oversaw the design and rebuilding of the structures.
