This exceptional antique Edwardian sterling silver watering can has a plain oval form. The body of this silver watering can is plain and embellished with the contemporary flat engraved monogram initials 'EIW'. This impressive example of Edwardian silverware is fitted with a hinged hallmarked cover surmounted by a ball style fingerpiece. This antique sterling silver watering can retains the original handle, overlaid with interwoven wicker; the upper portion of the handle terminates with a plain rounded socket. The can is fitted with a tapering cylindrical spout, accented with an angular plateaued lip.
