This Art Deco table lamp or bedside light was designed and manufactured in Germany in the 1930s during the Bauhaus period.
The light features a sculptural Bakelite base in a rich reddish-brown / chestnut tone with stepped Art Deco detailing, supporting an arched bronzed brass arm that cradles a cream-colored shade. The globe shade is made of opaline glass, designed to softly diffuse light while maintaining a clean, modern silhouette. A small push-button switch is integrated into the base, and the fabric-covered cord adds to its period authenticity.
