Founded by the brothers Auguste (1853–1909) and Antonin Daum (1864–1931), the company, based in the city of Nancy, established its reputation in the Art Nouveau period. Designer: Jean-Pierre Demarchi, born in Oran (Algeria) in 1928 and died in 1979, was a French sculptor and medalist. He was inspired by nature and recomposes it to the limit of the abstract.
