Jocelyn Audette Paintings
Jocelyn Audette has her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Colorado and has numerous exhibits and art awards. She is an artist and landscape painter whose paintings depict the beauty of the western United States, its mountains, rugged coast, creeks, rivers, valleys, deserts, rockscapes, farmlands, orchards and vineyards. Many of her landscape paintings are painted en plein air. While the major focus of her art is the landscape, Audette’s work includes the figure, animals, still lifes and other subjects of interest. Some of her work is conceptual and very abstract, often pursuing her interest in the illumination of detail. For Audette, being an artist is all about visually expressing her own experiences and perceptions. Her paintings are oils on panel, linen, canvas and paper as well as watercolor, encaustic, gouache, charcoal, ink and other mediums.
